Ok so you know my messages were all screwed up...I checked the APN settings and they were correct.....I made a new APN setting  the exact same as the old one labeled it as "new" clicked on new restarted the phone ...and nothing....did it a few more times and it's working now....funny it's the exact same as the Fido one..hmm 🤔

now the time stamp is correct too... funny that both APN settings are the same..
.. but I notice that now it takes a minute for a text to come in when before it was a couple seconds

Strange that the correct APN settings that were there to begin with weren't working correctly - Especially after multiple Factory Resets - The mysteries of Android... What even got you thinking about trying it?
Awesome either way 👍🐧

what got me thinking about that was that it wasn't a Fido phone I bought it directly unlocked from Samsung and last night something clicked in my head what about the APN settings and yah it worked after a couple of tries

some things I notice now...
sometimes the time stamp is correct and sometimes not.... sometimes it's fine sometimes the time stamp is correct and the message is out of order.... maybe another factory reset might fix it

Yeah I really don't think that another Factory Reset is going to be a permanent solution & You aren't the only one who is having this issue (small comfort I know) I'm sure that I suggested the following before - But - Settings - General Management - Time & Date Toggle Automatic - Off - Click on the Title & on the next screen - check the Date & Time to see if it's accurate - Toggle Automatic Back On
