Hi just got S25 ultra made smartswitch from S23 but I can't get to show # of text messages received or not read help pls

Hi Marie4poches,

On the Galaxy S25 Ultra, message notification badges are managed by App icon badges. To enable them:

1. Go to Settings → Notifications.

2. Tap Advanced settings.

3. Select App icon badges.

4. Choose Show with number.

This will display the count of unread text messages on your Messages app icon.

If it’s already enabled but still not showing, try toggling the setting off/on or clearing cache for the Messages app.
