Hide pop-up's content

Hi guys, I need some help with the pop-up setting. How do I hide the message content and the sender's name in the pop-up? There's no privacy especially when someone is using my phone. But I would still like to leave the pop-up feature 'on' so that I will be alert when there's 

any new telegram or whatsapp message coming.

Go to app setting close all pop up notification.

But if i close all the pop up notifications, I won't be able to see any pop up right?

Before i updated my phone, whenever i received a new message from my Telegram or Whatsapp, the only thing that appear in the pop-up is the telegram/whatsapp logo and 'new message', that's it. It won't disclose the sender's name and his or her message content. But after i updated the software this morning, somehow the notification setting of the phone has been altered which I have no idea how to change it back

Thanks but i have tried it, it actually off the pop-up feature in my phone, I don't want that, I just want the name and message detail to stay hidden and at the same time the pop up still can appear whenever i receive a new message

ya the name appear but content hide.

Just turn off the 'in app preview ' right?
