Horizontal Band on S8 Screen

Hi, I have an issue that has developed with my S8 phone. There's a horizontal band at the top of the screen. It's faint, but noticeable. From everything I've searched online, it seems like this may be a burn-in issue? I'm not familiar with this problem. Has anyone here experienced something like this? I've attached photos that I took with my tablet. I bought the phone in October 2017 and take very good care of it, so I'm disappointed that it's developed this issue.

I got it burn in twice on my S8+ in one year! Thankfully I was covered under warranty both times. They replaced my screen for free.
If you're not under warranty it's going to be very expensive as they have to change the whole display.

is always a good a idea to not use bright or intense blue colours for your lock and home screen. Also always move around the icons and widgets on your home screen. set brightness to auto and screen timeout less than a minute
