ICloud mail

I've got the Samsung mail icon set to my ICloud email. It takes literally hours for emails to come in.

I've deleted it and set. Up again, no change. 

Thoughts?

I have zero experience with icloud or Apple, but have a look at this.

Hi, thank you, I have done all of that. That is actually the article I used to set it up. Sending emails is fine, just receiving the is delayed. On my iPad and. Windows computer, no delay.

Did you adjust the sync time of the account?

Hi, Please perform the clear cache and data of the Email app on your phone and check if it works fine. Go to  Settings, swipe to, and touch Apps. Swipe to and touch the app you want to clear. Touch Storage, and then touch Clear cache and data.
