Hi there:
There seems to be a big issue with Instagram not working properly for S7 Edge users running Android Oreo. It doesn't allow users to upload to their stories (with GIFs or text in them) and gets stuck in "posting" ever since I updated the OS.
You can read more at these active forums:

Any word of a software fix anytime soon? And is anyone else here experiencing this?

how about you contract Instagram about it. samsung can't fix Instagram's bugs. that would be like asking Microsoft to fix a Linux bug

Well, no that's not the proper comparison. An appropriate one would be "Asking MS to fix a Chrome bug" because Linux does not run over Windows.
And sometimes it is indeed Microsoft's fault and they issue bug fixes.

I've contacted both companies since I've read that it could be a GPU issue or something.

Hey @Hecky, could you please try uninstalling and reinstalling the application? Also, please try clearing system cache for the issue. Thanks!
