I was trying to hotspot my computer in class today and my hotspot didn't seem to work. My laptop would connect then disconnect, and it was just a long cycle like that, and I didn't have a way to work in class. Do you guys know how to fix this? I'm currently on a 256 gb s24, that's like brand new. I got it a month ago and might consider switching to Apple if my hotspot won't work.

Here's a screenshot of how much data was used when I was trying to load up Google Classroom, and it never loaded. Data isn't a problem as I have 60 gb a month and 30 gb remaining right now.

Yeah, because no one on Apple's iPhone community has a problem with Hotspot..

HotSpot on all my Samsung devices, up to and including my S23 Ultra works perfectly..

You can try Resetting the Network Settings.. See if that helps?

The issue could also be on your computer's side?

Also, check your laptop's focus is off or its settings.
Check & enable/disable metered for the hotspot,
If you have Hyper-V networm setup, possibly the wifi is "bridged," so remove that.

As mentioned, it's most likely a setting on the laptop.

Hi shane213,

Please try the suggestions by RedDogRabbit to perform Reset Network settings and see if it works for you.

Go to Settings > Select General management > Select Reset > Select Reset network settings > Select Reset settings > Select Reset to confirm.

Thank you.
