Thanks for the tips. What about the tablet that froze after the update? Can't even proceed with the homescreen.

@butete It's been a week already.. the unit is still with the technician and it seems the unit is not responding despite the multiple attempt to update the software 😔

My Note20-U had 2 greenlines after updating to OneUI5.0. The lines appeared one after another in the interval of weeks. My observation is that this Samsung flagship "20" series, perhaps with its notorious Exynus chipset, cannot handle the new software upgrade power demand, to put it simply.

Technical explanation, SAMSUNG kept silent. FREE repair, actually amoled screen replacement is necessary, is under its warranty obligation, outside of it charging around 15k.

I traded-in my damaged Note20-U in last pre-order offer for another Samsung flagship phone for 16.2k. These phones are expensive, and the consumers gamble that they will serve well & long.

I suppose SAMSUNG cares for its brand-- but it's the consumers' choice and risk.

BTW, my wife's iPhone13 Pro-max got 'full white screen" one morning to start her day aghast, no chance to backup anything in the phone. It's less than 1 year old service, but good it happened while still under warranty. I learned this didn't happen only to her. Apple got defective model/s too.

Peace. Be well.
