The latest update the came to your device was a security patch for August. I don't believe anything that I can see changed with this update.

My phone stopped working. and got really hot. I was finally able to do a factory reset :( Ever since then, a game that I play a lot won't download.

I'm using the s7 and nothing appears to have changed. I suppose it is the security update making sure that everything is up snuff!!
