Ever since the OS update the modes and routines does not work anymore for locations. I have a routine which turns on mobile data and turns off Wi-Fi when I leave home. It used to work when I am two streets away. Now I have driven three kilometres away and it has still not triggered. Last time I went to the city and was away for 20 minutes and it still had not triggered. The OS update has been pretty bad. Now it looks like all the modes and routines need mobile data to run even though the only trigger is location

Fixes to Try (either / or / combination):

1. Enable High Accuracy Location:
* Settings > Location > Google Location Accuracy → Turn on

2.Enable Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Scanning:
* Settings > Location > Location services → Turn on Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning

3. Allow Location “All the Time”:
* Settings > Apps > Modes and Routines > Permissions > Location → Set to Allow all the time

4. Exclude from Battery Optimization:
* Settings > Battery > Background usage limits → Add Modes and Routines to Never sleeping apps

5. Check Data Access:
* If using Data Saver: Settings > Connections > Data Usage > Data Saver → Whitelist Modes and Routines.

6. Clear App Cache:
* Settings > Apps > Modes and Routines > Storage → Tap Clear cache
* Do the same for 'One UI Home'

7. Test with a Simple Routine
*E.g., toggle flashlight and see if it triggers

1-5 already on. And even with the routines opened it didn't trigger. Checked maps and it shows location. It is a change with the OS update that it didn't seem to work with data off.

I guess last resort options;

1. Use alternative triggers like:
* Bluetooth disconnect (e.g., home speaker or car)
* Time + Wi-Fi condition (e.g., if not connected to home Wi-Fi between 8–10 AM)

2. Report to Samsung:

I'll see if wifi trigger will work. It would be good if you could just report a whole thread to support but I guess not
