Lockscreen shortcuts

Hey guys,

I remember the lockscreen shortcuts being colorful. Why is it that they're grayed out now? The bottom buttons (phone and camera).

I am on the default theme.

I tried changing wallpapers.

I tried messing with lockstar.

I tried turning on and off dark mode.

But nothing works. I noticed some icons are colorful (3rd party apps) but some are grayed out when I try changing the shortcuts. Is there any way to change that while keeping default theme/icon pack or do I really gotta download one?

This happens on my Z Fold 2 as well as my S21 Ultra. Though on my Tab S7+, the phone shortcut in color. I'm so confused 🤣

Mine is black and white too. I think they changed after UI3.0??

Maybe... glad I'm not the only one then. Thought that maybe I messed with something and didn't realize.

I checked my tab though. It's running One UI 3.1 and the phone shortcut is green lol

If you go in and manually pick the phone app from the list of apps it won't be grey

For some reason, it does stay grey for me even when I manually choose them. I tried switching them places too from left to right and vice versa lol

I think it got to do with One UI 3.1, both mine s21 ultra and Tap s6 Lite lock screen short cut are in grey as well. Check on some YouTube reviews is seen their device same as well. Tested on s6 lite phone short cut is green and camera is red, on the phone is grey. Tested random icons, some have colour and some don't, like flash light is grey and same for samsung note. This is very strange.

It seems like maybe one UI 3.1 made the native apps shortcuts grey for some reason. I don't like it...

It used to be more obvious to see the shortcuts when they were their own color. Now that they are grey, they blend in too much with most wallpapers.

Please note that from One UI 3.0 that the default shortcuts apps’ color changed to white.

The Lock icon’s location is moved to the top of the screen for better recognition and an intuitive unlocking experience.

The music controller UI is enhanced.

Still weird that on my Tab S7+, the phone shortcut is colored then and it's on one UI 3.1 lol

In any case, I think that you guys should give the user the ability to choose whether they want their shortcuts in grey/white or in color. If not natively, then at least with the lock star module of good lock.

I really dislike this grayed out button and you guys are basically forcing me to download another icon pack to fix this. Being white/grey, the shortcuts aren't obvious enough.
