Galaxy SI have a Samsung Galaxy S9, with Android Version 9
While in the messaging app, if I receive a message, I dont get a notification. For example: if I send someone a text, and I put my phone down, and they reply before the lock screen locks, then I do not get a sound or vibration that a new message came. How can I make it so it makes a sound even if the messaging app is open on screen?

Galaxy S
I have seen this happening lately also on my S10.
If you answer someone's text message and don't close the app with that person's messages they can send multiple messages and you are not notified that they have responded
