messaging app problem

my stock samsung messaging app always freezes. need to restart the phone to fix it. force stopping the app aint doing anything.

Try clearing the cache from Settings -> Application Manager!

Please let me know if it works or not as I use messaging EVEYDAY, and it would really irritate me if it was not working correctly!
