For the past day and a half I am missing photos in my gallery in other apps. Before when I would go into Google Messages, or Messenger, or snapchat, or post a Pic on Facebook or basically anything to do with sharing a photo online, all of my pictures that I've taken with my camera roll were there for me to choose from. Now when I go into those apps to share or send a picture there's only 4 or 5 very old photos to choose from and I cannot find where they are on my phone. The weird thing is when I open Google Photos, or my Samsung Gallery all of my photos are still there. My phone regularly backs up and deletes these photos from my device but it's been like that since the dawn of smartphones and it's never effected what I saw or had to choose from in any other social app.
It should be noted that I can still share the pics directly from Photos or Gallery. But they used to show up still everywhere else still.
I hope this is making sense, I'm pretty baked as it is, so I don't know if I'm being clear.
1. pictures used to show up before, now pictures not show up.
2. Pics still shareable from two main Pic apps.
3. Pictures now not show up in all other apps.

I was also fiddling around baked with some different settings and themes and the such yesterday so it was literally probably something I clicked or experimented with that now I messed up and can't fix.
So I'm hoping the samsung bros can help bail me out on this one.
Anyone had this happen to them (the problems with the pictures not showing up, not the fiddling around baked with settings on your phone part.)

Just to confirm, you said that you can see the pics in Google photos and Samsung Gallery.
Is that your'e unable to see them in other apps? Can you please clarify your issue, so that it would be helpful for us to assist you accordingly and help you to sort this out.
I can see all my photos in Samsung Gallery and Google Photos. The problem persists when I go into other apps like Google Messages or Chatbooks (a photo printing app) or Messenger or Snapchat or when I try to post on Facebook. Literally any other app that shares photos or videos and has a gallery. I cannot see any photos but a few old ones. All of them have disappeared. I did not move them anywhere. I have browsed through numerous folders and albums. I cannot find them. But again, they're still there in photos and gallery. They have just disappeared from every other apps gallery's. I hope this has been a bit clearer.
