Why Samsung removed such usable toggles from quick settings?😕

For at least a couple of years - Samsung Moderators were saying that it's the Canadian Carriers who have removed the Mobile Data & HotSpot Toggles from the QS Tiles - Then abruptly Steve01 (Samsung Canada Manager) said that it was Samsung Canada who removed the Mobile Data & HotSpot Toggles - But remember that the Canadian Carriers are Samsung's biggest customers & they likely weren't happy with taking the blame - Why would Canadian Carriers want to remove the Mobile Data & HotSpot Toggles.... Possibly to glean an extra few dollars from their customers who exceeded their monthly Data Limits - By making it slightly more difficult to Toggle the Mobile Data Toggle On & Off... That's my 2 cents fwiw...

BUT it's easy enough to enable the Mobile Data & HotSpot Toggles with adb commands AND the "How To" has been posted countless times - A Search for Mobile Data Toggle will show you how 🐧

it looks interesting but I can't understand your solution. Could you please explain it a bit. 😁

You need to Download & Install Platform-Tools & Samsung USB Drivers to your computer - You need to Enable Developer Options on your phone & Enable USB Debugging on your phone (Settings - About Phone - Software Information - Click on the Build Number 7 times to Enable Developer Options)

You need to Open Windows Power Shell on your computer & Allow the connection between your computer & phone (if it's your computer - Click on "Always".

In Windows Power Shell - Type:

\adb shell

[enter]

Then type:

settings put secure sysui_qs_tiles "$(settings get secure sysui_qs_tiles), MobileData,HotSpot"

[enter]

and done - Edit the Button Layout & You can Drag the Mobile Data Toggle & HotSpot Toggles to the first Screen of the QS Tiles 🐧

oh that was it.. I saw this kind of videos on YouTube when I was searching for this solution. Is it safe for mobile security like we are doing something on our own that company didn't?

It's perfectly safe - I (and many others) use adb to enable the Mobile Data & HotSpot Toggles after every OTA 😉🐧
You're not creating anything new - You're only re-enabling what is already there - But it's being hidden deliberately by Samsung or the Canadian Carriers - Depending on who you want to believe..

The annoying thing is that this gets undone every update. Oh well, at least we have the option to put it back.
