Can anyone please give me some insight on how to add the Mobile Hotspot (tethering) to my quick panel shortcut on top (sliding down) ?
I tried to find it on the options when mange to edit the shortcuts but couldn't find it there as an option to add. Anyone can have an idea how to add? To me this is one of the most important features that should be handy.

Hi, I request you to please take the help from the given link and add Hotspot in quick panel.

The link you provided is only useful for editing the available QS Tiles.

For some reason, the Mobile HotSpot Toggle is not an available QS Tile that can be simply added on many devices. You actually have to use the adb method to Edit the QS Tiles.

And how is the OP going to add it if it doesn't exist as an available tile, like they stated in their post?

RedDogRabbit's solution will work. I've used it many times in the past when Samsung removes QS tiles for no reason.

Special hat works, if you don't want to use adb.. 🧙‍♂️

I still like the, "pulling a bunny out of a hat" solution 😂

I also wanted to report the Mobile Hotspot shortcut does not exist as an available tile for me. I have a Canadian S24, updated to latest Android 14/One UI 6.1.

My colleague with an S23 Ultra running One UI 6.0 (last time I checked) has the tile available on his phone with no issues.

I must say I absolutely hate this bug. I use Mobile Hotspot almost everyday for work on the go, and each time I need it, I have to dig through the phone settings to enable it.

Very unacceptable for a flagship.
