Connected my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G at home a few weeks ago just fine. Am currently on the road, using my hotel's WiFi. Both my Windows 10 laptop and phone are on the hotel WiFi, yet, my laptop and phone cannot "find" each other using flow. All updates are current on both the laptop and phone. I'm assuming the hotel (Hampton Inn) is using some sort of firewall or VPN that is causing this. I also cleared the Flow cache and data on the phone.

Is there another way to move pictures off the phone and on to the laptop without waiting to get home?

Thanks!

If you happen to have a micro sd card reader with you, you could always pop the external sd card into the reader, pop it into the USB port on your computer & presto done.

But as@Monreal1 suggested use the USB cable & you're far more likely to have that with you.

Hi rhodesmk,
Welcome to the Samsung Members Canada community.
You can transfer the data from your Samsung device to a PC by using the smart switch software.

Smart switch transfers personal data as well as (contacts, timetables, memories, messages and call history) and photos, videos, alarms, favorites.
Preferences: you cannot transfer settings or data from the downloaded applications.

Procedure: 1. Download the Smart Switch to the computer. Install it and restart the computer.
2. Open the Smart switch. Connect your mobile phone with the computer via a USB cable.
3. You can see the 'Save' option.

Here is the smart switch link: https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/mobile-devices/samsung-galaxy-smartphone-how-to-back-up-your-devi...

He only wants to transfer photos to his computer & Smart Switch isn't needed for such a simple task.
