My Files update

It shows that I have an update available for my files but whenever I click on it, it doesn't do anything. I tried looking for the app update in the samsung store but I was not able to find the app itself. Even the Google Play Store doesn't have the update available for this files app by samsung. 

Note: this files app came inbuilt in the phone and I was able to update it before.

Try this:

Go to Settings > Apps Search for "My Files" and Click on it > Top Right corner Click on the 3 Dot Menu.

Click "Uninstall Updates" & Reboot. 

Go to the Galaxy Store & Check for Updates.

Galaxy store doesn't have this app anymore. I tried looking for it, I found other apps but not this one.

It's still available on the Galaxy Store.

Doesn't show up for me either. I tried search my files, Samsung my files, files. Doesn't show up. If I click on the info for the app, app details in store is grayed out.

Same thing happened to me a few days ago. It wouldn't update. I downloaded the latest version from apkmirror.com and installed that.

What s series do u use? It may be bc they r no longer supported (for higher versions)
