Almost white eh..don't know about the color but cool that your friend received it!

Yea, I'm really not a fan of the black at all. Especially the sides of the phone look a bit cheap because of the all dark look. I'm supposed to get my Cotton Flower tomorrow, so I think it should have the same type of silver or chrome like finish like on the S22 Ultra in white. Gonna do the full review with the cotton flower / cream... thankfully.
