My Phone icon disapeared

My Phone icon disapeared but the functions are still active when I go into the text app or when I receive à Phone call, see it. I need help recovering rhe icon app! Thanks

S8, voicemail instructions are in french, should be english.

Contact your Carrier. Voice mail has nothing to do with Samsung.

Did you check and see if the icon is still available in the all apps list ??

Yes it is... I tried to press it long but it does not work!!!

Long Press anywhere on an empty part of the home screen & ensure that the desktop is not locked > Open the app drawer & find the phone Icon & long Press on it & Select "add to the home screen".

You'll probably have to long press on it again and drag it to where you want it. 

Long Press on an empty part of the desktop & lock the home screen again.

Thanks it did help find it but even when pressing it long, nothing happening!

I use Nova Launcher, 

But look at the screen shots. 

Long Press on an empty space on the desktop > Click on the "Gear" icon for the desktop settings > Toggle OFF lock desktop > Find the phone Icon (I used the clock app & you can see where it says "add to desktop).

Place the icon where you want it & lock the desktop.

Make sure you are only touching the screen with one finger when trying to long press
