my S22+ is now affected by the green line

unfortunately woke up to a green line few days back, on my 2 years old S22+. Also noticed that the free screen replacement period has ended even before I gotten the line 🥲🥲

Asked Samsung service, and they said it'll cost RM800+ to repair 😭 

Which is really a bummer since I'm on a tight budget as a student in uni. But I still plan to use this phone in the long run 

Just hoping this line will not worsen as I wait for a possible Free Screen Replacement campaign I'm the future 🥲🥲

Anyone else got any other alternative solutions?

Sorry to hear of your predicament. I just had the green line too, and I found out about the solution from Samsung Malaysia for the rm80 screen change.
I sent it in and got it back a week ago.
I was pretty lucky this time.

I have had similar issues with my note 3, note 5, note 9 and now, s21 ultra.

All the earlier phones exhibited similar problems, green screen, yellow screen etc. I was quoted rm800 for screen change!!!

All the problems appeared after an update. So this has been a constant with Samsung phones. And the charge of rm800 is also a constant.

I am at a loss to understand this. Neither do I have the strength to pursue it with them.

Yes, bro, I'm having the same problem in my Samsung Galaxy A73 after a recent update of March-April
This phone is not even used for any heavy task or gaming
No heating at all
Only used for calling and youtube

Samsung really has to rectifying this kind of problem

Actually the problem is Samsung are pushing their updates without testing it with all of their devices before make it public

Some updates might do this kind of issue

Samsung please rectify this problem as soon as possible

Hi Joelwsy, I'm having the exact same problem on my S20+. No damage, no heavy apps, was just doing my daily scrolling when the green lines popped up. Mine showed up not long after a software update, wondering if you've done any software update recently?
