I have an issue with samsung My Files. I can't use network storage in My files. I went to samsung Store in Montreal, and they didn't know how to solve it . When I press on network storage, it says open galaxy store to download the necessary app .. and then can't access the server. I have s23 ultra and s22 ultra both have the same issue . However, my old s21 has no issues with network storage. very disappointing.

What version of My Files do you have installed? Mine is 15.0.00.58 and with network storage manager 12.2.01.281 and network storage works properly.

I have an s22. My files version 15.0.03.25 and network storage manager ver: 12.2.01.281 and works without issue. Why are you trying to access storage on 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1? That's the address for your modem/router. If you have a shared drive attached to a physical USB port on your router, your router also needs to be set for sharing that drive. Can you access the drive from any other device on your network? Is it an ftp server you're trying to connect to? Much more info is needed here. If the my files app isn't working, then uninstall the latest update, clear data/cache and install again

I don't think it can be uninstalled.

If you can't get it working, there are other Android apps that work as a file explorer and that also do networking browsing.

I'm on an s22 ultra and want to get network storage function. Is there a way to get it to work or is there an alternative that does the same thing?

I had the same issue, for some reason the network storage add-on app is missing and the galaxy store either has a bug or it's missing. You will need to download the apk manually from the any trusted android app site, I used this one, ensure you allow install from untrusted source and once installed you will be able to add the network storage.

Having the same problem. Manual download/install of network storage apk doesn't work either. Extremely frustrating.
