notification noise

My Samsung Galaxy S6 Series keeps making a humming noise like a notification periodically. can't seem to shut that off.
I was wondering if any members experienced this as well, and can offer insight on how to correct that issue.

I had that issue on my phone. I still don't how it happened. I reset my settings from reset all settings option.

And did that option work for you and also please can you tell me if I lose all my contacts+information+apps?

Options worked for me and you don't lose anything except your settings.

Go to settings search for reset all settings and tap on it.
You will have to add your WiFi password again.

reset all settings and seems to be functioning perfect as before this issue arose.
