Was just scrolling over socmed on my Galaxy S21 just now, when all of a sudden the wild green lightsaber appears!! Why me? Why us? This is clearly a manufacturing defect and got to know the free screen replacement period for such issue had just over now. Why can't Samsung honour affected phones with such defect even later on?

Welcome to the club brother. This club have hundred of user having Samsung phone with green line (Broken screen). Up until now, samsung are not yet comment on this. I myself have goes to the support center and they do nothing accept ask me to trade and buy a new phone.

Really frustrated and disappointed when brand that you've stood by all these while responded such ways when it's clearly their fault.

The interesting thing is that Samsung Service Center actually acknowledges the "vertical lines" as an actual issue (shown in repair section of Samsung website as well), but for some reason never spoken up about it. If there's some kind of reputation to protect, then clearly they've done a terrible job at it cuz it's a crippling issue now more than ever.
