In our case, we won't get our Android 13 and One UI 5 fix til end of November to Early December judging by Samsung's update track record

Yes but if we go to Sammobile firmware, then oem unlock, then find a country has it, flash to our device eg I'm in Australia, then your device might get Android 12 one ui 5.0 faster I'm going to try it too.

Good way to stuff ya phone up by doing that IMHO . Wait for the official from Samsung. I'm in no hurry to get OneUI5 or Android 13

Those firmware in Sammobile are official firmware. You will not void your warranty if you flash it normally. You will only void your warranty when you trip your knox counter by rooting, flashing custom rom etc.

Flashing is not for all, you should know what you are doing as you might brick your device.

But yeah, better to wait for official one for your country as it was tested properly with the network etc.

I still would not advise anyone to do it. Someone will likely brick there phone an come back at you for suggesting it

@williamshaw I get the feeling you're not familiar with firmware flashing and because of this I strongly recommend you don't do it.

There is no need to OEM Unlock a device to flash official firmware, and Sammobile is not the best resource for official firmware, though it can be a good backup option I guess.

Personally I feel that those wanting to go this route, go and join XDA Developers.
Better for our community, I think, to keep that stuff separate.

I know that, to get new firmware to upgrade android version no need for oem unlock I thought though if different country would fail
