Let's talk about ONE UI 8 being more of a downgrade than an update, I'll go first. They took away this routine. They took away the most usefull widget for Samsung music... the list goes on...

I still have this in Routines, not sure if that's what you wanted. For me, the downgrade is mainly from Bixby, as they removed Bixby commands altogether.1762917856310.jpg

Have you tried to delete the routine and add it back?

Hi AaronHofer,

We understand  your concern and would like to inform you that with each software update, certain features may be added while others may be modified or removed. According to confirmation from Goldenseal, the option in question remains available within the Routines settings. We kindly recommend restarting your device to ensure all features are properly refreshed and accessible.

Do you have access to my phone? Because I tried that multiple times already and it didn't work until now. 👍

We regret to hear that the issue continues to persist despite having tried all the recommended steps.

Kindly submit an error report through the Samsung Members app, so that our technical team can review the case and assist you further. This will help us investigate the issue more effectively, especially as it appears to have started following the recent update.

Here are the steps to submit an error report through the Samsung Members app:

  1. Open the Samsung Members app on your device.

  2. Tap on Support at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Select Error Reports.

  4. Choose the relevant category (e.g., SystemAppConnectivity).

  5. Tap Write or + to start a new report.

  6. Describe the issue clearly, including:

    • When it started

    • What triggers it

    • Any troubleshooting steps you've tried

  7. Optionally, attach screenshots or logs if prompted.

  8. Tap Send to submit the report.
