Galaxy S
One UI has been missing things I've often used. Things like mobile data, and mobile hotspot button in the pull down menu (required to go into settings). Also on one of my previous phones with still had the navigation bar but it disappears off screen and you would swipe up to bring it back shortly. You could also choose to pin it. Can we have that as another alternative?
Just some suggestions for One UI.

Mobile Data & Hot Spot Toggles are removed by the Canadian Carriers...
You can add them back with adb commands - I prefer Navigation Gestures & I'm using Fluid Navigation Gestures from the Play Store 🐧
If you want to add the Mobile Data & Hot Spot Toggles read the link below 🕊️

Galaxy S
I have a Galaxy A8 running Oreo 8.0 with Samsung Experience level 9.0 from Roger's. My Mobile Data & Hotspot are accessed through my Settings under Connection's tab as per the screenshots. I have used a app to further change my Quick Settings.
I think it is more dependant on your model & OS over which carrier in Canada. That's based on my own experiences with 4 carrier's now to date & about 7 different devices (flip phone to tablet's) used from those various carrier's.
