Hi there. I just noticed that the spo2 pulse oximeter is no longer present in Samsung Health. It's not on the main screen nor is it listed in the available add-ons in the management screen. It appears to have been completely removed. Not sure when this occurred but I suspect it was after the June security patch. Does anyone know what's going on? I'm from Canada btw.

Samsung decided to remove the O² measurement from Samsung Health v6.5x - If you want it back - Download Samsung Health v6.4x from apk mirror - Uninstall the current version & turn OFF Auto Update on the Play Store & Galaxy Store 🐧

I used the BP labs app fro a couple of months and checked it for accuracy against my own BP cuff at home and in my office (I'm a physican). I can say with utmost confidence that the app using your watch to take your BP (I have the Samsung Active2 watch) is absolutely, totally useless. There is no correlation between the BP found on the app and reality. I would have to say that sometimes it is correct. And on that note, if you have 10,000 monkeys banging pots together....there will be a word banged out in morse code every once in a while. The app is way too inaccurate to be of any use whatsoever.

Thx for the quick reply and info. Any idea why this decision was made?

Likely because of the possible legal concerns in Canada..

No worries - And if you're interested - You can even use the Heart Rate sensor to measure your Blood Pressure - But you would need to Download the app (My BP Lab) from apk mirror (a very trusted site) and you can then also measure your BP for "entertainment" purposes...
Come to think about it - Samsung could possibly use that as a Disclaimer - "Samsung Health is for your Entertainment Only" lol 😂

This is BS. A big fail from Samsung, I feel betrayed. As if it weren't enough with all the half-baked features of S Health such as lame nutrition information. I will likely move on to a different platform because of this.
