Galaxy SHi Tuk2014,
Please try to wipe the cache partition of your device and follow the link provided by the Cassidy, for the steps of Wipe cache partition.
If you have a backup on Samsung Cloud, Then restoring your data is simple. You can transfer/restore it to a new or different device using the Restore feature. Follow the below steps:
Open Settings >> Tap Accounts and backup >> Tap Backup and restore >> Tap Restore data, select your desired device, and then select the content you want to restore(Eg: Contacts) >> Tap Next >> Tap Restore. If needed, follow the on-screen instructions to download your backup data.

Galaxy SHi KKC123,
There are several reasons why a phone's or tablet's GPS signal may not work properly, such as a communication failure with the satellite. Other times, it could be because your Location is disabled or because you are not using the best Location method.
Please check permissions for the GPS app. Follow the below steps:
Apps that use your device’s location only when you open them are listed under ALLOWED ONLY WHILE IN USE. Apps that are not allowed to use your location are listed under DENIED.
Also, If your GPS app requires permission, tap it, and then choose to Allow all the time. Now your GPS app will be allowed to use your location whenever it's necessary.
