As a photographer, I regularly use the Galaxy S23 Ultra to capture images in RAW format due to the flexibility it provides during post-processing. However, after several software updates, I have noticed that the RAW files captured in Pro Mode are not true RAW files, but rather JPEGs encapsulated within DNG containers. This issue has been widely discussed in various user communities, including Samsung’s forums, and it is clear that many photographers, like myself, are dissatisfied with this limitation.
Historically, Samsung devices have offered genuine RAW files, which allowed for more control in editors like Adobe Lightroom, particularly for recovering details in shadows and highlights and reducing noise. However, the current implementation hinders the full use of these capabilities, making editing restricted and not what is expected from RAW files.
Therefore, I would like to suggest that Samsung:
1. **Restore support for true RAW files in Pro Mode** – allowing the captured file to contain all the light and color information without any compression or typical JPEG processing. 2. **Provide clearer and more customizable options in ExpertRAW** – enabling users to choose between JPEGs in DNG containers or genuine RAWs, without compromising the flexibility and quality expected from this format. 3. **Expand RAW capture support to higher resolutions** – allowing RAW capture in 50MP and 200MP modes, which would offer even more detail for professionals using these devices.
In the past, I was able to capture true RAW files directly through Pro Mode without the need for third-party apps. However, I currently have to rely on the ProShot app to work around this limitation. Like many other photographers, I would prefer to count on Samsung's native solution to obtain true RAW files, something that was available in previous devices and seems to have been altered now.
I believe restoring this functionality would benefit both casual and professional photographers, enhancing the prestige of the Galaxy Ultra series in the photography market.

Filmic Pro ... Por necessidade mesmo. Pra foto pro eu recomendo o Sony Xperian 1 IV ... Pois além da potência da câmera, ele ainda tem um modo pro perfeito e um editor único .......
