Hi mtlguy, Could you please share a screenshot of the issue. Please close all the background applications and reboot your device and check if the issue got resolved.
If you have software update recently, please try go to Recovery mode to do a Wipe Cache Partition.
- Shutdown your phone - Press and hold Volume + Power + Bixby button at the same time - Release all buttons when you see Samsung logo - Use Volume up and down key for navigation - Choose Wipe Cache Partition - 1 Click Power button for ok - Click Yes - Click Reboot system now
Check the problem if it is still exist after phone boot up.
