S pen rattling noise

Hey guys, my s-spen on the s23 ultra rattles a lot. When i receive a notification or a call, when the phone vibrates. The spen rattles and makes this annoying noise. Is this normal?

My s23 does not have any rattle.

But my wife's brand new s25 ultra (!!!) rattles like crazy. And when the phone heats up this rattle noise starts to fade.

Technical support knows about this rattle, and for them this is normal of course.

As far as i know one of the use cases of the vibration mode is to not wake up/disturb the person next to you. Seems like some people have a different opinion.

Sent to samsung cs, the issue was with the spen holder. Had to argue and get it changed but it came with the sceeen. Had to change the whole screen to solve it. But was under warranty so no charges. Imo, you should argue with the cs until they get it changed. Ask the staff to compare with every display unit s25u, don't let it slide, make them change the screen.

What i did was i asked the cs staff to check every s23u display unit until they agreed that my device was faulty. And agreed to service it.

Tech support said it's normal. I insisted it's not. Finally i was offered a refund or a replacement. I am waiting for a replacement device.
