S Pen Smells like Burnt Rubber

Did anybody notice that the S Pen has this burnt rubber smell? Or is it just me? Though it is working well. Do I have to go to a service center?

Why can't I make an appointment? I am being prompted that I have a pending booking. But I don't have a ticket #.
