Galaxy SWhat I saw is that it's better to support everything to have the android version for that carrier. Maybe they triggered the update after

Galaxy SYeah, you definitely do NOT have to install the Firmware, just because you switched Carriers.
You could always Flash the CSC for Telus if you want to. ⚠️*It may cause you to Factory Reset your device*

Galaxy SYou MAY have issues with WiFi Calling & VoLTE, unless you change the CSC to Rogers.. I think that you might 🤔

Galaxy SWell then, backup your device with Smart Switch & I'm pretty sure that you'll have to use Telus's CSC.
