Hi,

As far as I know if I switch from Rogers to Telus I need to re-install Android with CSC previously canged to Telus using *#243203855# so I can have access to Wifi calling and other stuff. Is that correct or it may not work as my EMEI is not with8n their database?

Thanks,

Math

Hello, personally, when I switched from Fido to Bell, they asked me to give them my phone's IMEI so they can enable the sim card for my phone, and everything is working fine. I'm not sure if it works the same for Rogers and Telus, but I don't think you'll need to re-install anything1700928819087.jpg

D'accord merci samy du screenshot en français lol.

What I saw is that it's better to support everything to have the android version for that carrier. Maybe they triggered the update after

Yeah, you definitely do NOT have to install the Firmware, just because you switched Carriers.

You could always Flash the CSC for Telus if you want to. ⚠️*It may cause you to Factory Reset your device*

Ok thanks I tought that some of the carrier features like wifi calling or VoLTE would not work. Thanks.

I know about factory reset I may do it since I never did a reset in 3 years

You MAY have issues with WiFi Calling & VoLTE, unless you change the CSC to Rogers.. I think that you might 🤔

That was exactly my question. For the rest I know it will work but wifi call8ng is a must for me

Well then, backup your device with Smart Switch & I'm pretty sure that you'll have to use Telus's CSC.

Rogers told me they go by whether they sold the customer the device and have the device serial number in their database. Changing the CSC didn't work for me, and they wouldn't add my device to their DB.

Was that recently?

I don't know if Telus is as difficult?

Yeah, I've heard that about Rogers.. Is it like that for people who buy directly from Samsung? I would find that ridiculous..
