After numerous attempts to defer the update, it would still and will still push through. I had my s20 ultra on March 2020, experienced oled burn as early as dec 2020 and at the start of 2023, the dreaded screen issue.

It is really frustrating how Samsung Ph respond to this issue. With the number of complaints s20 series users, it is but obvious that the issue is not isolated nor user intiated. It is simply because of a deployed faulty software update which basically, ruined our screens. And now, they have the nerve to charge us 13k for the lcd replacement. Lol. Can someone please explain why a flagship phone worth more than 60k is like a snowflake, so brittle, so fragile? Considering that the issue was reported way back in 2021 mitigation plans should have been initiated, apparently, they're obviously after your money. tsk tsk. Hope DTI can look into this.

One of the service centers in Davao. Hayyy. We switched to another brand (I can still reply kasi di ko pa nabebenta tong s22u na mukhang may sakit na rin tskkk!)

Count me in as another victim and I hope DTI does hear us. It's a very bad experience as it was my first time buying directly from a Samsung Store, it was for my daughter's use. Usually, I get my phones as part of a Telco plan for me to be protected by retention plans they offer, like my S21 Ultra. I am really at the brink of turning my back from supporting/purchasing/using Samsung Phones... sadly this has made me decide against getting the Galaxy Z Fold as my new phone upon Telco Plan renewal.

i feel you. I had several rounds of conversation with their case management-support-service center, only to get the answer, "this is how our process/guidelines work". lols. traumatizing actually. Did you file a complaint to DTI?

Not yet really but hoping someone has had already for us. Seems easier to just simply turn my back from Samsung. I saw TeamGalaxyRene reached out to you... he really from Samsung, has he helped you?
