My S21 FE overheats easily. Even at night! Do i need a thermal cover?

Hi, here are some tips on what to do if your device heats generates heat as you use it.

1. Turn off the Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth functions when not in use.
In addition, reduce the screen brightness of your device >> Pull down the 'Quick panel', then turn off 'Wi-Fi' and 'Bluetooth' >> Turn off ‘Location’ Minimize the brightness.

2. Optimized the phone using Device care feature.

 Go to ‘Settings’ and select ‘Battery and device care’ >> Tap ‘Optimize now’ >>  Tap ‘Done’.

3. Close unused background running apps.

Select ‘Battery and device care’ >> Select ‘Battery’ >> Select ‘Power saving’ >>  Turn on ‘Power saving’ >> Select ‘Background usage limits’ >> Turn on ‘Put unused apps to sleep’.

Follow these simple tips to avoid heating:

  • Always use a genuine Adapter & USB cable to charge your device.
  • Do not use damaged travel adapter & USB cable.
  • Avoid using the device in areas with weak signals or no reception.
  • Avoid using your phone while charging.
  • Turn off the Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and other connectivity features when not in use.
  • Avoid using maximum screen brightness.
  • Close unused applications.
  • Avoid playing graphic-intensive videos or games for a longer duration.
  • Uninstall unused applications from the device.
  • Keep your phone software and apps up to date.
