Short answer is no. 

This is last Friday's OS Update Schedule from Rogers. 

Perhaps there will be some information on this coming Friday's Update Schedules?

I'm a lot older. I believe that is why the Bell agent advised me to purchase the Galaxy A12. I've never liked it but I signed the 2 yr. Contract. It won't be 1 yr till September. Is there anything I can do to change out this phone without costing me anything.
Suggestions welcomed please.

You could always try selling it privately on Kijiji for example.

Your post would likely be noticed more, if you made a new one of your own, as opposed to it being potentially unseen here, as this post is about updates for a specific device.
