I've made a decision which I thought I'd share with the community. Over the years, I have spent a considerable amount of hard earned money on Samsung products, mostly cell phone and accessories.

While I have been generally satisfied, I cannot accept that in this day and age, with spam, vulnerabilities and all kinds of threats to my personal data, I would be here typing this message on my S22 with the last security patch dated Feb 1.

This is totally unacceptable and for this reason, I am seriously considering switching to my iPhone SE2, just so I have peace of mind.

I agree, and doing it on flagship phone just after 2 years it's a shame. I would never buy Samsung phones again with their false promises for updates. Time to move on to Pixel

First and last samsung phone, back to iphone, more stable phone, frequent updates, bugs fix, security patches u name it, never had slow motion opening folders, carplay doesnt glitch very smooth, i sign to my online banking from chrome and it doesnt require me to use finger print even though all setting are enabled, which is stupid, iphone always asked for face id to sign in, i can go on forever, simply put samsung is nokia with a tie, and soon they will go down like nokia, so many phones throughout the year, just concentrate on S and Z maybe then u will be able to deliver, and whats with photos color change, red turns almost pink, really????!!! Stick to appliances

A company that doesnt value their own products, only at launch of a new phones you will get huge discounts and trade in value to change your phone, a month later try trading in your phone, they told me for an s23 ultra a phone that costs more than 2000$ is only worth 400$, a month later after s24 launch
Try selling after one year if you are lucky you sell it for 600$

I asked a similar question as I haven't got any security updates for a while and that's not good.  This is what I asked

This seems like a Samsung Canada/Canadian carriers issue. The April update has been released in the US and probably most other countries. They either found an issue, or they're combining it with a big update. But yes, very frustrating.
