Also happening in Chrome on Desktop mode. 

When I hkr backspace and start typing again the curser jumps to different words. Or backspaces it and then the text immediately returns. Its incredibly annoying and there is an entire reddit thread on it. 

Gboard / Honey board makes no difference.

I'm guessing that you tried the suggestions in the Reddit?

This issue is only occurring using FB & Chrome? 

I don't use Facebook, but there's a few other things that you can try.

If you are using any screen protector, if it's not Whitestone Dome, or something of equal quality, it's possible to get "ghost" inputs on a keyboard. 

Settings > Apps & Search for the keyboards > Clear Cache & Data & Reboot, see if that works?

Try Uninstalling ALL Updates to FB & Chrome & Reboot. 

Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache for your device.

Try using SwiftKey Keyboard (that's what I use).

Safe Mode isn't likely going to tell you much, even though FB is a System app (unfortunately), I'm not sure if it's going to get disabled in Safe Mode or not? 

Last option would be to Backup with Smart Switch & Factory Reset.

Definitely not screen protector, because it is localized to that app only.

Where exactly do I clear keyboard cache?

Settings > Apps > Show System Apps ( Toggle the Menu Middle Right to Show System Apps & Click "OK") Search for your Keyboard > Samsung Keyboard & It's Storage to Clear Cache for it.

I don't see the option to show system apps..

Settings > Apps & there's a "menu button" which will look different on your device because of my Theme > Toggle it to Show System Apps & Then you can Search for Samsung Keyboard, Otherwise it won't show.
