I purchased the S22 Ultra as an upgrade and to get esim, well 3 weeks in and the usb c just stopped working. charged like normal last night then this morning nothing in the usb c.

Thankfully wireless charging is working but it now leaves me with a paperweight in the car as i don't have wireless charging or wireless android auto. tried to call Samsung. that was a waste of time still waiting on a callback. have booked it in for tomorrow a service center but i know it will be a sendoff for repair.

key issues here and why Samsung should just go to .... and why i am going back to APPLE

* its 3 weeks old so it should be a straight swap, not a take-in and send away (stupid me went to esim so not like its an easy swap sim into a replacement phone.)

* Have any support so users can get an answer.

If its not fixed on the spot i am getting a refund and walking to apple.......

Sounds like it is not the cable but try another cable any way. Look up, Google, different usb-c cables to make sure you get/borrow one with the right specs. There are multiple different types.

Samsung supports options are for faulty devices is hand in and wait 3 + days for assessment no time on when you will get a working device back.........

Or go were you purchased it and get a refund or pay for Samsung care + $249 and the extortion fee $229 to get it swapped on the spot. hmm.  Apple swaps on the spot with out ripping you off.

Samsung doesn't care, This was my last android device. as i went with the esim its not like i can hand it over for a week .................................... no brains in samsung at all.

Actually if you go via the Department od Fair Trading it is free. Samsung can not charge you for what you are legally entitled to under consumer law.

You bought it directly at Samsung? If from a brick and mortar store, go back to the store instead and request for direct replacement.
