Coming from the s21 ultra 256gb in black I decided to go with the white 512gb s22 Ultra this time and here are my thoughts. It's a good phone but not a game changer. When playing simple games like Mario kart tour it sometimes bogs down. The vibration motor is pretty poopy, when my phone vibrates I can barely feel it in my pocket. Software as a whole is decent but I'll save my final thoughts once the phone gets a proper update.

Must be nice to actually have the phone though... lol

The games bog down because of the whole GOS situation. Once the update comes out, that should be fixed.

I find it surprising for the vibration motor though. I've always found Samsung phones to have great haptics. Have you set the vibration intensity to max in the settings?

I believe it's because they changed their vibration axis from Z to X.

Oh wow... and they were advertising it as a better vibration motor...

Apparently the Z fold 3 use that too and personally, I found the vibration really good on the fold.

Maybe, hopefully an update can fix that too

It's actually really bad. I just placed the phone on a table and started playing with the vibration patterns and I thought my phone was on silent until I actually touched my phone and realized it was vibrating. What a shame.

Haptic feedback is actually very nice. It's for notifications that its weak. Like @jamesy said, when set on a table, you barely hear it vibrate, especially when it's in a case however I do feel it when it's in my pocket.

Oh. Weird. Even with the vibration intensity for notifications set to Max? It's still weak?

SIGH just wish I had my **bleep** phone already to play with 😑

You can choose a pattern where you will notice it more but yes, when set on a table, you hardly hear it even at max setting.

Sometimes you have to make the best with what you have. Im often in meetings so sometimes a loud vibration when set on the table could be disturbing to others (yeah i know we can adjust intensity but still). I set my AOD to go on for new notifications along with the vibration so i never miss a notification when set on the table and kind of like it that way. It is weaker than the S21U though.
