Hello yeahboy,

Sorry to hear that, about your experience with the recent updates on your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra having issues with battery draining faster and we apologize for the inconvenience it caused you.

Before you try out the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:

Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.

Step 2. Tap on Download and install.

Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 4. Reset your device.

Step 5. Disable Always-On-Display and reduce the brightness.

Step 6. Keep mobile data and location/GPS services off when not in use.

If that doesn't work, you can submit an error report through Samsung Members app as follows:

Step 1. Long press Samsung Members icon on Apps screen and tap Error reports.

Step 2. Tap OK on agreement popup to send system log data.

Step 3. Select Symptom category "Power/Battery/Charging".

Step 4. Describe the problem in details and SEND.

Just update all apps your apps as usual. Close all unused connections and remove the battery level indicator.

What do you mean with the battery level indicator? Is it the battery percentage? Even if I do that, SOT still low compared to my previous samsung unit which is 4 yrs old phone.

That will be a different story since your usage still depends and there are lots of factors too.

I am not a heavy user, and the settings are only on its default, adaptive for screen refresh rate, FHD+ for screen resolution and everything is all default since its way bought, only after updating to android 13 and one ui 5 the battery significantly drain way more faster occur.

You still have a new phone and battery adjustment takes on 2-3 weeks as per adaptive power saver. It takes for apps to be put on sleep and more apps will be added to deep sleep too.

Does it really need to put in sleep mode such apps even if it wasnt put on sleep on android 12 before I updated to the current software version, and as per adaptive power saver I turn it off.

Same here and it's been weeks so i doubt the "adjustment" period is still going on.
