The green vertical line issue on the S22 Ultra is usually caused by display hardware failure, often due to overheating, physical damage, or software glitches after an update. Some possible remedies include:

* Restart the device – Sometimes, a simple reboot can help.

* Boot into Safe Mode – This checks if third-party apps are causing the issue.

* Update or Roll Back Software – If the problem started after an update, check for patches or try rolling back.

* Check for Display Connector Issues – If you've dropped the phone, the display cable might be loose.

* Samsung Repair/Replacement – If under warranty, Samsung may replace the screen for free (especially if it's a known issue).

If the line persists, it’s likely a hardware issue requiring a screen replacement.

To put your Samsung S22 Ultra into Safe Mode, follow these steps:

* Turn it back on by pressing and holding the Power button until the Samsung logo appears.

* When the Samsung logo appears, immediately press and hold the Volume Down button.

* You should see "Safe mode" in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Method 2: Using Settings (If the phone is on)

* Press and hold the Power button until the power menu appears.

* Tap and hold the Power off option until you see Safe mode.

* Tap Safe mode, and your phone will restart in Safe Mode. How to

Exit Safe Mode; Simply restart your phone normally, and it will boot back into standard mode.

S22 series, if out of warranty, you may seek for screen repair outside. Samsung service only offer replacement.
I saw the screen repair center for screen line issue.1742770843050.jpg1742770843084.jpg
