Galaxy SHi Nabeel000,
We’re sorry to hear about the overheating issues after the One UI 7.0 update on your S23 FE — we know how frustrating that can be, especially during everyday use.
You’ve already tried many useful steps — thank you for that. In addition, please try the following:
Wipe Cache Partition which can help after major updates:
- Power off the phone
- Press and hold Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo appears
- Use volume buttons to select Wipe cache partition, then confirm with Power
- Reboot when done
Battery and Device Care Scan: Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Tap “Optimize now”. Also, check Background usage limits > Put unused apps to sleep
Submit an Error Report so our software team can investigate: Samsung Members > Support > Send Feedback > Error Reports > Battery/Overheating
We appreciate your detailed feedback — it really helps us work toward a solution. Let us know if symptoms improve after trying the steps above.
Thank you.

Galaxy SWell I got the exynos variant of S23 FE too but the highest body temperature I've ever experienced since I bought was 43-44! And that was while I was playing Cod and Genshin with LTE. How yours reached 48? It may destroy your battery in just a sec 😂 Do something, first install good guardians and decrease temperature threshold down to 2 degrees. If it didn't helped, factory reset or put live apps and meta apps to deep sleep, and then finally consider going to some samsung service center if not resolved.

Galaxy SFirst, to keep an eye on temperature load a Samsung app called Ampere and check it every now and again. My S23FE shuts down at 45C, I try to keep it below 40C by reducing app use etc.. Second, I finally realised that a third party produces/d a case which has a mesh back to allow more airflow over the back (I bought such a case a couple of years ago). In other words this has been a problem for years for this model. If you have a stand you can place the phone on it.. Necessary because using Dex puts a load on, buy a stand and fan, see below as it allows more airflow around the entire phone (I use Dex which means I don't keep moving the phone around). I then bought a 3 speed desktop usb fan and aim the airflow at the back of the phone, works well.
I seem to remember there is a setting that allows you to reduce cpu use to 70%. Also read up and reduce the number of active background apps (listed under Settings, Background). This all makes it sound like a lemon but it's not.
I do have to take extra care when using map software. I did have a problem driving in country Victoria as it over-heated and stopped working. One fix for this is to position your phone in front of the car's air system output aimed at the back of the phone. I am a light phone user so over-heating is rare.
