S23 Ultra January update?

So I have been getting a new phone every 2 years so that I get updates quickly. This month I have watched the s21 s22 and several other older models get the January SMR update before my S23 ultra. What gives Samsung I spend good money to have one of your newest devices and yet I get my update after these older devices?

I know that AT&T in the US has received the January Security Patch OTA for the S23 series, January 12th but I haven't seen anything from other US Carriers ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ The US is different from Canada, in that SOME of the US Carriers are the ones who Push OTAs ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ It is not the same in Canada, Where ⚠️⚠️ALL the OTAs come directly from Samsung's Servers, regardless of what Carrier you are with! ⚠️⚠️

This is pure SPECULATION on my part, but it is POSSIBLE that Samsung is working on One UI V6.1 for the S23 series.. with a POSSIBLE release in February.. BUT that's just a GUESS!

I do agree that they possibly are working on adding AI and 6.1 but it would be nice if Samsung would communicate with its customer base. I guess we will have to continue to wait and see lmao

Samsung Canada seems to be incapable of communicating with it's customers...

The Samsung Members app Notice, only shows the One UI V5.0 update, from June 2023.. but they are quite content to tell us to dress warmly, hydrate & advertise new products..

They really are quite out of touch with what would actually be appreciated.

I can understand the frustration and when I first started using Samsung devices I was one of the guys on this forms going on about updates and how slow they arrive. But things have changed for me, my mindset has changed. Honestly, there are more important things in life to concern yourself with and your time than software updates. Because if your device does everything that it needs to do then what's the problem?. The updates will come and it's not the end of the world if you have to wait a few more weeks.

A problem with this modern world is that everybody is used to having everything almost instantly and patience has become a thing if the past now.

New SamMobile article says there should be one more security patch for the S23 and then One UI 6.1 will be available in March. Other devices in first half of 2024.

Yea it's really annoying watching older phones get it before us...
