After the 2024 update. My selfie cam and vid works via samung cam app. However, only sound works on the chat apps such as zoom , Google meet, and teams. Please advise. I used my old s9 plus and it works. Not the s23 ultra. I did try all the samsung community previous advise. Please fix ASAP.
Yes audio works via zoom . No video. I have seen this problem discussed. I think the update messed up the cam communication with apps. As I did same vid chat with my s9 plus no problem.
So did you check video permissions then? Also do you need to select the camera / can you (if disabled not greyed out) in the specific apps having said issue?
I tried and check other apps permitting conditions all good. Please fix this in s23 ultra. If not I will trade this s23 ultra in for s25 ultra or get an Chinese brand.
Possible its an issue with the developers app? Try clearing each apps cache close and relaunch to test. Also, check if pending updates are needed if none uninstall, restart, and re-download.

I tries viber and telegram . They both work. Whatsapp google meets Microsoft team. No go just black screen in selfie lense, vid in front lenses work. Samsung cam app selfie is good.
I just tried the web version chrome google meets. That works. Then downgraded the google meets app. That works. The updated google meets on s23 ultra app. No go.
Good troubleshooting! Curious if Google services needs to be updated on your phone? Presuming that's required to get Google Meet app that's updated to work correctly?
