S24 Plus google maps keeps losing gps signal

I have a S24 Plus.

Google maps keeps losing gps signal but other gps apps work fine, I ran a satellite test app with google maps at the same time on split screen view, and gps test app works fine but google maps lost gps signal and navigation just pauses. Happens intermittently when driving .

I have reset cache, deleted and reinstalled the app with no luck.

Anyone else having this issue ?

I have had the phone returned twice to samsung with no resolve and basically samsung have said its "my problem". Very poor support. I am now trying to annoying google to fix it, other apps show no satelite problem, just google maps, which was my preferred app, maybe samsung could at least complain on us users behalf and get this resolved. I hate to say, but my iPhone, which I don't like, works faultlessly, not good for sales samsung

Samsung make good phones but have poor user support. I got the s24ultra and having no issues with maps.

I have s24+ and have been seeing this for at least 2weeks now. I recently upgraded from s9+ and never ever saw this issue.

+1! I've been struggling with this for 2+ weeks. Thought it could have been from my case but I removed it and still got this issue. Again, all other apps work fine. Google Maps is accurate and has signal but freaks out when in driving mode!

Has anyone got a solution for this? I have the same problem with google maps after upgrading from s10 to s24. S10 google maps didn't face this kind of problem while using the same mobile network.

S24 from 3-2024: Unfortunately I have the same problem since last week. Google Maps keeps searching for GPS signal while driving, finds it for a few seconds and loses it again. Battery >50%, temperature <25°C.
I'm glad this didn't happen during our summer holiday earlier this month.

Same here with my S24 plus using google maps, I would get GPS signal lost when in navigation while driving. Works fine with waze with no issues. Seems to be google maps bug issue or samsung gps not playing nice with google maps. Samsung and Google need to work together to fix this issue.
