Recently got the S24+, I waited for 2 hours for everything to be transferred, updated, organized before start using. I switched to QHD and so has my wife on her new Ultra. I have noticed the S24 + to drain 1% every 5mins. I gave it some rest, put it in charge but it is the same. I was literally just signing in on apps and exploring the phone at <25% brightness and lossing battery 1% every 5-6min. I double checked if any background app is running and there is none. While my wife using her Ultra scrolling on YouTube, her battery percentage is barely moving. Is anyone having the same issue with the S24 + ?

I think it takes a week for the battery to optimize, or so I've heard. I'd wait and see if it improves.

If you only just got it, give it a day or two for the Battery Software Measurement to figure out your usage.

My S23 Ultra averages between 1% loss over 11 to 20+ minutes.. but it depends on how you are using the phone, Mobile Data vs WiFi, Sleeping Apps, Apps Optimized or Unrestricted, SOT etc.

I'm averaging ~ 7+ hours of SOT.

What application are you using to see the battery discharge speed?

Hi, Don't worry it will take some time for your new device to learn your usage pattern or behaviour to optimize its battery life. It may take several weeks to a few months to fully optimize the battery.

Also to learn more about the "Battery" please follow the steps in the given link.

"several weeks to a few months"???

Try less than a week!

Where are you getting your information from??

The link you posted, has nothing to do with "Battery Learning Usage Patterns", it's about battery decline & how to diagnose a dying, or dead battery..

Seriously, you should delete your post... or at the very least, edit the living daylights out of it.

Wonder how long my post, and the Moderators post will remain..

I've noticed this as well, I just bought the phone and it gets unnecessarily hot and gives me like 2 hours SOT with 40% usage, Idk why it's acting so erratic and hot and laggy. While playing cod mobile the entire screen was lagging and there was a lot of screen tearing. The thermals are really trash and the camera has a noticable lens shift while shifting from 1x to the 3x lens, like a barn door effect, the entire phone just feels off and everything is sub par with the reviews I've seen and heard. I Shouldn't have taken the exynos version....

Hi mkyed,

Exactly same issue even I'm experiencing. Before this s24+ I was using a A52 from past 3 yrs. Because of slowness I bought the flagship series and now facing this issue. Why can't they test the product thoroughly before releasing it.

It's been 12 days since I bought the phone and I think it's enough for the phone to learn my battery usage patterns.
