I recently bought the Samsung S24 Ultra, and after just a few weeks of using it, I noticed that the s-pen has become burnt. I'm unsure of the exact cause, but it appears to be related to a heating issue.

I reached out to customer care, but they refused to replace it, citing it as cosmetic damage not covered under warranty.
In my view, this issue likely stems from a heating problem, and it's Samsung's responsibility to address it seriously.

Has anyone else experienced similar problem?

Won't the ground breaking S24 A.I. fix that right up?

Did your device feel hot enough to melt the plastic on the Spen? 

You could see if Samsung's Good Guardians, Thermal Guardian will give you the device's temperature history?

A few days ago, I placed it on Samsung's wireless duo charger for approximately one hour, and I noticed that its hot compared to wired charging.

Later on the same day, I left it to charge fully for about 5 hours, and it's possible that this incident occurred during that time.

I believe it is since the burnt part of s-pen is closed to battery. I think you were lucky. It could be worse with firing up. I suggest you don't use wireless charging on this phone unit anymore.

Apple aurait remplacé ça immédiatement... Mais encore une fois ... Samsung et le service à clientèle c de la vrai marde et sera tjrs de la vrai marde .. j'ai beau aimer leurs produits ... Le service à clientèle c vraiment de la bouillie

No matter how to charge the phone, it should not be hot. Unbelievable the response of Samsung's Customer Service???.

@Helenna, Hi Helenna, I am wondering why level 1 members can't chat with DM directly? If the DM is on behalf of samsung customers' services , should any level members be able to talk to the DM?

I had the same issue with my Galaxy S22 Ultra

I told them the S Pen came like that and asked for a replacement, and they sent a new one within a week.

My advice? Message them again but say it came like that, don't tell them about any burning issue.

Is that your thumb print near the top? That must have been crazy hot. The pens charge coils are near the tip of the stylus and there's a capacitor where the thumb print is. I would think the pen is severely damaged at this point. It's just crazy. The pen sits in it's own tube
Hopefully the tube isn't damaged.
