Hi all, Ever since updating to UI 7.0 back in June, my S24 Ultra has been having an intermittent issue where the USB port just stops working.
At first, I thought it was a charger/cable problem, but it turns out it’s the port itself — wireless charging still works fine, and the phone won’t connect to a computer via USB when this happens.
The only way I’ve been able to fix it is by restarting the phone, which works but is annoying to have to do every few days. I recently updated with the July patch and thought it had fixed the issue, but it just happened again today.
I’ve seen some posts saying the Device Care app might be the culprit. Has anyone else run into this, and if so, did you find a workaround?
Thanks!

Galaxy SHi BlueMatcha,
It's hard to tell what the issue is exactly without testing it. I'd suggest you send in an error report so our technicians can look into it to see if it's a software issue first.
Once they can confirm that it isn't software related, we can guide you through the next steps to have the hardware assessed.
Thanks,
